عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَيْمٍ - يُقَالُ لَهُ : مُعَاذٌ - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ظَاهَرَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ بَيْنَ دِرْعَيْنِ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

A man from Banu Taym named Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of Uhud, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out wearing two coats of armour.
