عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ لِوَاءُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، وَلِوَاءُ الْأَنْصَارِ مَعَ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ - رَضْيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا - . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the day of Badr, the banner of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was with Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), and the banner of the Ansar was with Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains al-Hajjaj bin Artah, and he is a mudallis. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
