Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 886 — What is reported about foods
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَتْ : " أَكَلْنَا لَحْمَ فَرَسٍ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Sayyida Asma (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that we ate horse meat during the time of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
