حَدَّثَنَا الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ ، وَأَذِنَ فِي لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the meat of donkeys on the day of Khaybar and permitted the meat of horses.
