Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 611 — Prohibited sales involving risk
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا عِيسَى ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْحَيَوَانِ بِالْحَيَوَانِ نَسِيئَةً " .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling an animal for another animal on credit.
