Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud 610 — Prohibited sales involving risk
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا شِهَابٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّادٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا دَاودُ يَعْنِي الْعَطَّارَ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يُبَاعَ الْحَيَوَانُ بِالْحَيَوَانِ نَسِيئَةً " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade selling an animal for another animal on credit.
