Muntaqa Ibn Jarud

Narrated to us Ishaq ibn Mansur, he said: I was told by Abd al-Rahman, and (also) narrated to us Abdullah ibn Hashim, he said: Narrated to us Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Sufyan, from Zubayd, from Ibrahim, from Masruq, from Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "He is not one of us who strikes the cheeks, tears the garments, and calls with the call of the pre-Islamic period of ignorance." And in the narration of Ibn Hashim, he said: Zubayd narrated to me.
