Hadith 164

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: ((الْإِسْلَامُ ذَلُولٌ لَا يَرْكَبُ إِلَّا ذَلُولًا))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Islam is ease, and it is granted only to the one who is gentle."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Islam demands moderation and balance, and it is only upon this that one can hope to maintain constancy and continuity. As for the person who prefers excess and overexertion in deeds, there remains the danger that such a person may not be able to sustain this course; and this is indeed what happens—he becomes so heedless that he comes to be counted among those who act poorly.
