. (Second chain) It is narrated from Saeed Maqbari that when Amr bin Saeed was sending an army towards Makkah, Abu Shurayh Al-Adawi said to him: O Amir! Allow me to tell you the things that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said in his sermon the day after the conquest of Makkah, which my ears heard and my heart remembered. When you said these things, my eyes were looking at you. After praising Allah Almighty, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has declared Makkah sacred, ... . Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The governor of Madinah appointed by Yazid bin Muawiyah was Amr bin Sa‘id bin ‘As. He was sending an army towards Makkah Mukarramah to fight against Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair radi Allahu anhu. During this time, Sayyiduna Abu Shurayh ‘Adawi radi Allahu anhu fulfilled his responsibility and narrated the hadith of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, in the light of which the action of Amr bin Sa‘id was not correct.

At the end of the hadith, Amr bin Sa‘id is alluding to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair radi Allahu anhu, implying that he is disobedient, and so on, but this view of Amr bin Sa‘id is not correct.
