بَابُ قَوْلِهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَا يُنْجِي أَحَدَكُمْ عَمَلُهُ
Chapter: His ﷺ saying, "None of you will be saved by his deeds"

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يُنْجِي أَحَدَكُمْ عَمَلُهُ قَالُوا وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ فَسَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَاغْدُوا وَرُوحُوا وَشَيْءٌ مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ وَالْقَصْدَ الْقَصْدَ تَبْلُغُوا
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No one will be saved by his deeds. The people asked: Not even you, O Messenger of Allah!? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Not even me, unless Allah covers me with His mercy. So follow the right path, adopt moderation, walk a little at the beginning of the day, a little at the end of the day, and a little at night, and adopt moderation, embrace balance, you will reach your goal.
