Taken from: Fatāwā Amanpuri by Shaykh Ghulam Mustafa Zaheer Amanpuri
❖ Question:
Is it permissible to specify a good deed for the month of Ramadan, believing that it will carry more reward?
❖ Answer:
Yes, it is permissible. Indeed, the month of Ramadan holds great virtue, and righteous deeds performed within it earn multiplied rewards. However, one should not restrict a specific act solely to the month of Ramadan unless there is evidence for it.
