The Virtue of the Last Two Verses of Surah Al-Baqarah
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Masood Badri (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will be sufficient for him.”
Benefit: Some have said that “they will be sufficient” means that on that night, the person will be protected from undesirable things, and some have said that it means they will be sufficient for the night prayer (Qiyam al-Layl). (That is, these two verses contain the reward of Qiyam al-Layl.)
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA), the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Do not make your houses like graveyards. Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.”
