✿ Science, Atheism, and the Rise of Skepticism
With the rapid advancement of science, attacking religion—particularly Islam—has become an intellectual fashion.
Social media platforms are flooded with campaigns promoting atheism and materialism, presenting them as rational alternatives to faith.
⛔ At the same time, Islam, the Qur’an, and the Prophet ﷺ are being targeted in attempts to label them as unscientific and outdated, aiming to sow doubt among the youth and detach them from their faith.
✿ Foundations of a Worldview
Every worldview is built upon a core belief that explains the origin of the universe and human existence.
✔ Religious Worldview:
– Belief in God as the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
– His attributes are manifest in every aspect of creation, though His Essence is beyond human comprehension.
📌 Human Limitation:
Just as an AI-powered robot cannot comprehend the essence of its human programmer,
likewise, human intellect is too limited to fully grasp the reality of God.
✿ The Shaky Foundation of Atheism
Atheism is built upon denial of God, yet its arguments remain weak and disjointed.
❖ Doubt and Limited Intellect:
Many fall into atheism not because of logic, but due to unanswered questions and reliance on limited human reason.
Since the human mind cannot fully perceive the divine, some resort to complete denial.
❖ Borrowed Ideologies:
Atheists often lack coherent original explanations and tend to borrow elements from religious and philosophical frameworks they seek to reject.
❖ Psychological Disposition:
Atheism often leads to negativity, disillusionment, and a restless inner state, which manifests as hostility toward all religion.
✿ Science as a Shield — But a Broken One
Atheists use science as their intellectual crutch, projecting it as a savior to validate their beliefs.
🔬 Big Bang & Evolution:
Used to undermine religion, yet these theories are not absolute.
They cannot explain purpose, morality, or consciousness.
⚛️ Higgs Field (Invisible Energy):
Science accepts the existence of the Higgs field—an unseen force giving matter its mass.
📌 If science can accept invisible phenomena, why not the existence of God?
👽 Angels and Jinn vs. Aliens:
While science rejects angels and jinn due to lack of material evidence, it spends billions searching for aliens—with no proof to date.
This is a clear double standard.
✿ Creation of the Universe — Islam vs. Atheism
Islamic View:
The universe came into being from nothing (ex nihilo) by the command of Allah.
Scientific Atheist View:
Stephen Hawking claimed that because gravity exists, the universe created itself.
📌 Logical Flaw:
– Gravity requires mass to exist.
– If nothing existed before the universe, then neither mass nor gravity existed.
– Hence, the claim that the universe created itself is self-contradictory.
✿ The Inadequacy of Atheism
Atheism is built on assumptions and theories that do not hold up to logical or philosophical scrutiny.
✔ To deny God, atheists construct imaginary alternatives that are often illogical, meaningless, and contradictory.
📖 The Qur’an explains this condition:
﴿خَتَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ﴾
“Allah has set a seal upon their hearts.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah: 7)
This reflects the spiritual blindness of those who reject truth not because of lack of evidence, but due to arrogance or inner denial.
✿ Final Reflection
Despite science’s ability to describe how things work, it cannot answer the most fundamental questions:
– Why does the universe exist?
– Who gave purpose to life?
– What lies beyond death?
Only Islam answers these questions with clarity, depth, and purpose—anchored in revelation, rationality, and spiritual truth.
