Limits of Friendship with Non-Muslims
Becoming a disbeliever due to friendship with non-Muslims occurs when one loves them and helps them against Muslims. Merely dealing justly with them, or associating with them to invite them to Islam, attending their gatherings for the purpose of spreading Islam, and traveling to meet them for this purpose does not make a person a disbeliever.
