A woman received a marriage proposal from a man. The woman set a condition that he would not smoke tobacco. He accepted this condition, so the woman married him. Later, it became clear to the woman that he still smokes tobacco. What is the ruling regarding this woman?
Answer:
Alhamdulillah, when the matter is as described, undoubtedly the woman has the option to demand the annulment of the marriage contract (faskh), or to continue living with him.
