Supplication at the Time of Sleeping:
① Join both palms together and recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas. Then blow into them and wipe them over your body as much as possible. Start from the head, face, and the front part of the body. Do this three times.
② When you reach the bed and complete Ayat al-Kursi, a protector will be appointed by Allah and Satan will not come near you until morning.
Additionally, it is Sunnah to recite Surah Ha Mim Sajdah and Surah Al-Mulk at the time of sleeping. Whoever recites the following two verses at night, they are sufficient for him.
The Messenger of Allah believed in that Book which was revealed to him from his Lord, and so did all the believers. They all believed in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. We make no distinction between any of His messengers. And they say, “We hear and we obey. Our Lord! We seek Your forgiveness, and to You is the return.” Allah does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. Whoever does good will have the benefit of it, and whoever does evil will bear the burden of it. Our Lord! If we have forgotten or erred, do not hold us accountable. Our Lord! Do not place upon us a burden like that which You placed upon those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our protector, so help us against the disbelieving people. (Ameen)
Whoever lies down on the bed and says Subhan Allah (Allah is Pure) 33 times, Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah) 33 times, and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) 34 times, it is better for him than having a servant.
