❖ Question:

Should the Takbīrāt (Allāhu Akbar) of ʿĪd be recited aloud?

✿ Answer:

Yes, the Takbīrāt for ʿĪd should be recited aloud.

❀ Report from the Companions:

✅ It is reported about Sayyidunā ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه:

“He would recite Takbīrāt aloud in his tent at Minā.
The people in the mosque would hear him and start reciting Takbīrāt as well.
Then the people in the market would hear them and also begin the Takbīr,
until the entire area of Minā would echo with a single unified Takbīr.”
