❖ Sexual Crimes in Pakistan and the Myth of Western “Sex Education”

Whenever a rape case surfaces in Pakistan, the Westernized segment of society presents Western-style sex education as the “only solution.”
This creates a false perception that Western secular and liberal countries are free from such crimes, having turned their societies into “paradise” through education—
while Pakistan, being a religious country, is portrayed as a hub of sexual violence.

But what is the truth? Let us examine the facts.

❖ The United States: Heaven for Predators or Hell for Victims?

America is considered the world’s largest democracy and a champion of human rights, with a highly praised judicial and law enforcement system.
However, in reality, the U.S. is a paradise for sexual predators and a living hell for women and children.

❖ Shocking Rape Statistics in the U.S.

◄ According to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network):
 • Since 1998, 17.7 million rape cases have been reported in the U.S.
 • 99% of perpetrators never face punishment.
 • 13% of rape victims commit suicide.
 • Annually, 321,500 rape cases are reported.
 • Every 98 seconds, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted.
 • 570 people are assaulted daily.

❖ Sexual Violence Against American Children

◄ According to the U.S. Department of Justice (2012):
 • 62,939 children were sexually assaulted in that year alone.
 • 85% of victims never filed a report.
◄ Since 1998, over 1.8 million minors have suffered sexual assault.

❖ Sexual Crimes in the U.S. Military

◄ (New York Times, May 28, 2014):
 • In 2012, 26,000 military personnel were assaulted.
 • Only 3,374 cases were reported.
 • In 2013, 5,061 cases were registered; only 376 led to convictions.
 • Whistleblowers were accused of “personality disorders” and discharged.

❖ Failure of Sex Education in America

◄ Sex education has been taught in U.S. schools since the 1920s, yet sexual crimes are rampant.
◄ The statistic of one assault every 98 seconds proves that sex education has failed to curb such crimes.
◄ Instead, it has fueled sexual deviance and abuse, especially among youth.

❖ Sexual Crimes in Europe

France: Europe’s Most Secular Nation

◄ 75,000 rape cases annually
◄ In 2012, only 1,293 cases were officially reported
◄ In 2014, 5,000 to 7,000 gang-rape cases were registered
◄ Despite sex education in schools since 1973, crime rates remain high

United Kingdom: Mandatory Sex Education, Still Rising Crimes

◄ Since 2015, sex education has been compulsory
◄ England & Wales: 97,000 rape cases annually—11 every hour
◄ Only 15% of cases are recorded by police

❖ Countries Leading in Sexual Crimes

◉ USA – 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men become victims of sexual assault
◉ South Africa – Over 65,000 cases annually
◉ Sweden – 1 in 4 women raped; 1 in 2 sexually harassed
◉ India – A rape is reported every 22 minutes, actual figures likely much higher
◉ England – 1 in 5 women experience rape at least once in their lives

❖ The Double Standard of Western Media and Local Secularists

◄ Despite millions of women and children suffering abuse in the West, Western media downplays these issues.
◄ In contrast, a few cases in Pakistan are sensationalized to defame the religious and cultural values of the society.
◄ There are no madrasahs or clerics influencing Western nations—yet rape and assault are rampant despite sex education and women’s freedom.

❖ Conclusion

If sex education were truly the solution to sexual crimes, the West would see a decline in these incidents.
But instead, the numbers are rising—a clear indication that so-called freedom has only led to exploitation.

The reality is that the West has disguised exploitation as empowerment.
Those in Pakistan who constantly glorify the West must re-examine their views in light of these harsh realities.
