Ruling on Selling Clothes to Non-Muslims
It is permissible for a Muslim to sell clothes to non-Muslim men and women, provided the following conditions are met:
- The clothing must cover the body appropriately (i.e., it should not be revealing or indecent).
- The clothing should not bear symbols of disbelief or shirk, such as crosses or other similar emblems.
- Silk clothing should not be sold to men, as it is prohibited for men in Islam.
In general, the principle in trade is permissibility unless there is evidence prohibiting a specific transaction. This applies whether the sale is to Muslims or non-Muslims.
