❖ Critique on the Treatise “Tawheed Khaalis”
In the treatise “Tawheed Khaalis”, where general and vague criticism has been made on alleged miracles (karamat), certain authentic narrations and traditions have also been unjustly and incorrectly criticized.
✿ Criticism on Karamat and Its Style
◈ The criticism made in this treatise regarding karamat and similar issues is incomplete and lacking clarity.
◈ Neither have the objections been fully explained, nor have they been refuted with proper evidence or the correct interpretation been clarified.
✿ Unwarranted Criticism on Authentic Narrations
◈ Certain authentic and reliable narrations have also been criticized in an improper manner.
◈ These objections do not meet scholarly standards, and on the surface, appear to be baseless.
✿ Accusation of Shirk on the Ahl-e-Hadith Group
◈ The treatise accuses the Ahl-e-Hadith group of being involved in shirk (polytheism).
◈ This accusation is based solely on the following points:
➊ That during prayer, they say السلام علیک أیها النبی in at-Tahiyyat.
➋ They consider it valid to send salutations and blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ.
➌ They believe in the life of the Prophet ﷺ, as stated by Deobandi and grave-revering individuals.
✿ Additional Allegations
◈ Furthermore, Shah Ismail Shaheed Dehlvi (رحمه الله) and the Ahl-e-Hadith have also been counted among the adherents of:
➊ Wahdat al-Wujood
➋ Wahdat al-Shuhud
➌ Or the doctrine of Din-e-Ittihad
This is a grave slander, about which it may rightly be said:
انا لله وانا الیه راجعون
✿ The Impact of This Publication
◈ This so-called “rare research” by Allama Masooduddin Sahib, and its publication by the institution, can:
➊ Become a cause of opening the door of discord within the Ummah.
➋ In today’s era, everyone feels free to write whatever they wish, say whatever they please, and hurl accusations at whomever they desire.
May Allah have mercy on the Muslim Ummah and protect it from trials and tribulations.
