Ruling Regarding a Woman Leading Other Women in Prayer
◈ Woman as an Imām Among Women:
If a woman is to lead other women in prayer, she should stand in the middle of the row.
❀ Statement of Raṭhah Ḥanafiyyah رحمها الله:
أمَّتنا عائشة فقامت بينهن في الصلاة المكتوبة
“Our mother ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها led us in the obligatory prayer while standing in the middle of the row.”
