③ Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“(On the Day of Resurrection) the one who recites the Quran will be told: Keep reciting and ascend, and recite as you used to recite in the world with tartil (measured recitation). Your final verse will be your destination.”
④ Sayyiduna Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:
“Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will have a good deed credited to him, and each good deed is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Meem is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.”
⑤ Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says: Whoever is unable to ask Me for something because he is busy with the recitation of the Quran, I will give him something better than what those who ask Me receive.”
⑥ Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him), he said:
“On the Day of Resurrection, the Quran will come and say: O Lord! Adorn him (the owner of the Quran), so He will crown him with the crown of honor. Then it will say: O Lord! Bestow more upon him, so He will clothe him with the robe of dignity. Then it will say: O Lord! Be pleased with him, so He will be pleased with him. Then he will be told: Keep reciting and ascend to higher ranks, and for every verse, a good deed will be added.”
⑦ Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“When some people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and teaching it to one another, tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, angels surround them, and Allah mentions them among those with Him.”
⑧ Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever recites the Quran, memorizes it, considers its lawful things lawful and its prohibited things prohibited, Allah will admit him to Paradise because of it and will accept the intercession for ten members of his family for whom Hellfire has become obligatory.”

“When some people sit in a house of Allah and recite the Book of Allah, teaching and learning from one another, tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to the angels. And the lineage of a person will not benefit him if his deeds abandon him.”

“Allah Almighty has not revealed any Surah like Surah Al-Fatiha in the Torah and the Injil. It is the Sab’a al-Mathani (the seven oft-repeated verses), it is divided between Me (the Lord) and My servant (half and half), and it is for My servant who asks for it.”
