Prohibition of Denying One’s Child
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه that when the verse of Malaa’nat (Laan) was revealed, he heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
“Whoever attributes a child to a people to whom he has no relation, then he has no share with Allah (in His religion and mercy), and Allah will not admit him to Paradise, and (likewise) if a man denies his child while the child is looking at him, then on the Day of Resurrection Allah will veil him (deprive him of His sight) and disgrace him in the presence of all creation.”
