The Companions of the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with them, are the Saints of Allah

Allah Almighty has mentioned the excellence of the Companions of Muhammad, peace be upon him, in His Holy Book. The blessed verses of the Quran indicate that the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, are beloved and close servants of Allah. Below we mention these blessed verses.

Reference: At-Tawbah:100

“And the first forerunners among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct – Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.”

In another place, it is stated:

Reference: Al-Mujadila:22

“You will never find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those – He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him – those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah – they are the successful.”

In another place, it is stated:

“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is like a seed which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers – so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.”

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: When Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), he would stand up, kiss her, and seat her in his place. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) fell ill, Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to him, bent down and kissed him, then raised her head and began to cry. Then when she bent down a second time, she raised her head and began to laugh. I thought that I considered her the most intelligent of all women, but she is like ordinary women (laughing even in that condition). When the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) passed away, I asked her: When you bent over the Prophet (peace be upon him), you raised your head and cried, and when you bent again, you raised your head and laughed.
