How should a practicing (religious) brother maintain relations with his irreligious brother, according to the Qur’an?

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʿammā baʿd!
Relations should be maintained in such a way that the irreligious brother is encouraged and motivated towards dīn, and eventually becomes practicing himself.

Maintain ties with wisdom, patience, and kindness, but the goal must always be to invite him towards righteousness and obedience to Allah.
