Answer: Imam Shu’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
[لو كانت الشيعة من الطير لكانوا رخما ولو كانوا من البهائم لكانوا حمرا]
If the Shia were birds, they would be vultures, and if they were animals, they would be donkeys.
