Jami at-Tirmidhi 1777 — Permission to Walk Wearing One Shoe

Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that sometimes the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would walk wearing only one shoe.

Note:
(The narrator of this hadith, Layth ibn Abi Sulaym, is abandoned in hadith transmission (matruk al-hadith). The correct position is that this narration is mawquf (stopped) upon Aisha radi Allahu anha, as is found in the following narration, and as the author has explicitly stated.)
