عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ وَنَحَرَ نُسُكَهُ نَاوَلَ الْحَالِقَ شِقَّهُ الأَيْمَنَ فَحَلَقَهُ ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَ الْحَالِقَ شِقَّهُ الأَيْسَرَ فَحَلَقَهُ ، ثُمَّ " أَمَرَ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ أَنْ يَقْسِمَهُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) stoned the Jamrah (Aqabah) and sacrificed the animal, he turned the right side of his head towards the barber, who shaved it. The Prophet (ﷺ) gave those hairs to Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him). Then he turned the left side of his head towards the barber, who also shaved it, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) again gave those hairs to Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "Distribute them among the people on the left side."
