عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ ، قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ بِالتَّخْفِيفِ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْهَدْيِ ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " عَنِ الْغُلامِ شَاتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ لا يَضُرُّكُمْ ذُكْرَانًا كُنَّ أَوْ إِنَاثًا".
Umm Kurz says: I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the place of Hudaybiyyah to ask about the issue of sacrificial meat, and I heard him ﷺ say: "For a boy, two goats and for a girl, one goat is prescribed for 'Aqiqah; there is no harm whether they are male or female."
