أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصْغِي إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would incline his blessed head from the mosque towards my chamber while he was in i'tikaf, and I would be menstruating, yet I would wash his blessed head.
