Sunan al-Shafi'i 270 — On transactions (buying and selling)
عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " حَجَمَ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ , وَأَمَرَ أَهْلَهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ خَرَاجِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that Abu Taybah, may Allah be pleased with him, performed cupping for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave him one sa’ of dates as his wage and said to his owners, “Reduce his tax.”
