عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَتِيقٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ السِّنِينَ وَأَمَرَ بِوَضْعِ الْجَوَائِحِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade selling the fruits of trees for multiple years and ordered that (the amount) be remitted in case of loss due to calamities.
