بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِيمَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ

Sunan Sa'id bin Mansur 3506 — on what is reported regarding one
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ لَمْ يَغْزُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ يُجَهِّزْ غَازِيًا، أَوْ يَخْلُفُهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى تُصِيبَهُ قَارِعَةٌ»
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever does not strive in the way of Allah, nor equips a warrior, nor looks after his family, he will be afflicted by a calamity."
