حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، " أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، قَالَتْ لِزَوْجِهَا: لَا أَبَرُّ لَكَ قَسَمًا، وَلَا أُطِيعُ لَكَ أَمْرًا، وَلَا أَغْتَسِلُ لَكَ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ. فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ: لَا أَفْعَلُ، وَلَا أَفْعَلُ، أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ كَرِهَتْ زَوْجَهَا فَيَأْخُذُ مِنْهَا وَيُخَلِّي عَنْهَا "
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When a woman says to her husband, "I will neither obey you nor perform ghusl," then the husband should raise his hand and say, "I will neither do anything for you nor fulfill anything." If the woman dislikes her husband, then the husband should take wealth from her and separate from her.
