حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا مَنْصُورٌ، وَعَوْفٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تَجَاوَزَ لِهَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ عَنِ النِّسْيَانِ، وَالْخَطَأِ وَمَا أُكْرِهُوا عَلَيْهِ»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Allah Almighty has pardoned this Ummah for forgetfulness, mistakes, and compulsion.
