Sunan Sa'id bin Mansur 155 — Virtues of the Qur'an
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْتِمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي كُلِّ ثَمَانٍ .
Abi Al-Muhallab (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that: Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) used to complete the Qur'an every eight days.
