بَابٌ: هَلْ يُوصِي الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَالِهِ بِأَكْثَرَ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ

Sunan Sa'id bin Mansur 1511 — Can a man bequeath more than a third
سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا جُوَيْبِرٌ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعَلِيًّا، «أَوْصَيَا بِالْخُمُسِ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمَا لِمَنْ لَا يَرِثُ مِنْ ذَوِي قَرَابَتِهِمَا»
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) bequeathed one-fifth of their wealth for those close relatives of theirs who were not their heirs.
