بَابُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى الْمِيرَاثِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْسَمَ
Chapter on one who accepts Islam before the inheritance is distributed

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: نا الْأَحْوَصُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَهُوَ مَوْلَاهُ يَرِثُهُ، وَيَدِي عَنْهُ»
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever accepts Islam at the hand of someone, that person is his mawla (protector), he will be his heir, and he will pay his blood money."
