الْآيَةُ (82) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَلْيَضْحَكُوا قَلِيلا وَلْيَبْكُوا كَثِيرًا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ}
Verse (82) His saying, Exalted is He: {So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn}
Sunan Sa'id bin Mansur 1028 — Verse (82) His saying, Exalted is He

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سُمَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { فَلْيَضْحَكُوا قَلِيلا وَلْيَبْكُوا كَثِيرًا } - قَالَ: الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ فَلْيَضْحَكُوا فِيهَا مَا شَاؤُوا، فَإِذَا صَارُوا إِلَى الْآخِرَةِ بَكَوْا بُكَاءً لَا يَنْقَطِعُ، فَذَلِكَ الْكَثِيرُ .
Abu Razin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The world is little, so laugh as much as you want in the world, then when you reach the Hereafter there will be such weeping that will never end, and this is the great weeping that has been mentioned.
