الْآيَةُ (41) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {انْفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالا وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ}
Verse (41) His saying, Exalted is He: {Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew}
Sunan Sa'id bin Mansur 1016 — Verse (41) His saying, Exalted is He
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: أَوَّلُ شَيْءٍ نَزَلَ مِنْ بَرَاءَةٌ الَّتِي بَعْدَ الْأَرْبَعِينَ: { انْفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالا } ... إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: { إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ } .
Abu Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The very first part that was revealed from Surah At-Tawbah is this verse «انْفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالًا» up to where He said «إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ».
