قَدْ رُوِّينَا فِي أَحَادِيثِ الصَّدَقَاتِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ هَرِمَةٌ، وَلَا ذَاتُ عَوَارٍ "، وَفِي بَعْضِهَا: " وَلَا ذَاتُ عَيْبٍ "..
It has reached us in the hadiths about zakah from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "And in zakah, no very old animal is to be taken, nor a one-eyed (or defective) animal."
And in some narrations the wording is: "Nor an animal with a defect (is to be taken)."
And in some narrations the wording is: "Nor an animal with a defect (is to be taken)."
