قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: لِأَنَّ اللهَ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى نَصَّهُ فَسَمَّاهُ نَجِسًا.
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Because Allah, Glorified and Exalted, has stated it explicitly and called it impure (najis)."
