قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، مِثْلَهُ.
This is another chain of the previous hadith.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا حِبَّانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: {وَآتُوهُمْ مِنْ مَالِ اللهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ} [النور: ٣٣] قَالَ: " كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُمْ أَنْ يَدَعَ الرَّجُلُ لِمُكَاتَبِهِ طَائِفَةً مِنْ مُكَاتَبَتِهِ.
Muhammad bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) says regarding this saying, "And give them from the wealth of Allah which He has given you" [Surah al-Nur: 33], that they liked a man to leave some part of the kitabah of his mukatab slave.
