أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي قُمَاشٍ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كُلُّ نِسَائِكَ لَهُنَّ كُنًى غَيْرِي. قَالَ: " تَكَنَّيْ بِابْنِكِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ". فَكَانَتْ تُكَنَّى بِأُمِّ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ.
Hisham bin Urwah narrates from his father that Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "All your (peace and blessings be upon him) wives have a kunyah except me." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take your kunyah after your son Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both)." So the kunyah of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was Umm Abdullah until she passed away.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ مِنْ أَصْلِ سَمَاعِهِ، وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَامِيُّ فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ الْعَامِرِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَا تُكَنِّينِي فَكُلُّ نِسَائِكَ لَهَا كُنْيَةٌ؟ فَقَالَ: " بَلَى اكْتَنِي بِابْنِكِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ". فَكَانَتْ تُكَنَّى أُمَّ عَبْدِ اللهِ. لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، تَابَعَهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَمَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ قَعْنَبٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ.
Abbad bin Hamzah bin Abdullah bin al-Zubayr narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), why do you (peace and blessings be upon him) not give me a kunyah, when all your (peace and blessings be upon him) wives have kunyahs? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take it after your son Abdullah." So her kunyah was Umm Abdullah.
