أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا تَمِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ، ثنا حُمَيْدٌ، هُوَ ابْنُ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: أَصَبْتُ جِرَابًا مِنْ شَحْمٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَالْتَزَمْتُهُ، فَقُلْتُ: لَا أُعْطِي أَحَدًا الْيَوْمَ مِنْ هَذَا شَيْئًا، فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَبَسِّمٌ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: On the day of Khaybar I found a bag of fat, which I kept with me, and I said: I will not give anyone any of this. I turned around and saw that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was smiling.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: إِنَّمَا أُحِلَّتْ ذَبَائِحُ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى لِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ.
Ikrimah narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the animals slaughtered by the Jews and the Christians are lawful for us, because they believe in the Torah and the Injil. [Da'if]
