Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One night I was keeping watch in Madinah with Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and we saw the light of a lamp in a house. When we reached the door of the house, their voices were loud and unruly. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) took my hand and said: Do you know whose house this is? I said: No. He said: It belongs to Rabi'ah bin Umayyah bin Khalaf; they are drinking wine right now. What is your opinion, what should be done?
