أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حِبَّانَ التَّمَّارُ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ كَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ فَأَدَّبَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَأْدِيبَهَا، وَعَلَّمَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَعْلِيمَهَا، وَأَعْتَقَهَا، وَتَزَوَّجَهَا؛ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ، وَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مَمْلُوكٍ أَدَّى حَقَّ اللهِ وَحَقَّ مَوَالِيهِ؛ فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ ". رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ. وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ أَوْجُهٍ أُخَرَ عَنْ صَالِحٍ.
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has a slave-girl and teaches her good manners and gives her good education, then frees her and marries her, has a double reward; and the slave who fulfils the right of Allah and the right of his master will also have a double reward."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، قَالَ خَطَبَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَقِيمُوا الْحُدُودَ عَلَى أَرِقَّائِكُمْ مَنْ أُحْصِنَ مِنْهُمْ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُحْصَنْ، فَإِنَّ أَمَةً لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَنَتْ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَجْلِدَهَا، فَأَتَيْتُهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِالنُّفَاسِ، فَخَشِيتُ إِنْ أَنَا جَلَدْتُهَا أَنْ تَمُوتَ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: " أَحْسَنْتَ ". ⦗٢٠⦘ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنِ الْمُقَدَّمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، وَبَقِيَّةُ هَذَا الْبَابِ فِي كِتَابِ الْحُدُودِ.
Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) delivered a sermon and said: "O people, if your slaves commit fornication, establish the prescribed punishments on them in every case. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a slave-girl who committed fornication, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to flog her. When I went to flog her, she was in post-childbirth bleeding (nifas), so I thought that if I flogged her in this state she would die. I went and told him (peace and blessings be upon him) the whole matter, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) praised me."
