أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: " شَهِدْتُ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً " ثُمَّ سَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ.
Ibn Shihab (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him): I was present with the two who performed li'an in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and at that time I was fifteen years old.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ إِمْلَاءً، نا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لِلْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ: " حِسَابُكُمَا عَلَى اللهِ أَحَدَكُمَا كَاذِبٌ لَا سَبِيلَ لَكَ عَلَيْهَا " فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَالِي مَالِي قَالَ: " لَا مَالَ لَكَ إِنْ كُنْتَ صَدَقْتَ فَهُوَ بِمَا اسْتَحْلَلْتَ مِنْ فَرْجِهَا وَإِنْ كُنْتَ كَذَبْتَ عَلَيْهَا فَذَاكَ أَبْعَدُ لَكَ فِيهِ أَوْ فِيهَا " أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، كَمَا مَضَى وَقَدْ رَوَى قِصَّةَ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، وَأَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ وَفِي ذَلِكَ دَلَالَةٌ عَلَى شُهُودِهِمْ مَعَ غَيْرِهِمْ تَلَاعُنَهُمَا وَاللهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say concerning the two who performed li'an: "Your reckoning is with Allah. One of you is a liar; the husband has no claim over the wife." He said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! My wealth! My wealth! He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have no wealth. If you are truthful, then this wealth is gone in exchange for her private part having been made lawful for you; and if you lied against her, then that is even further from you."
