أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَسَنِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: بِتُّ عِنْدَ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَهَا تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ، فَتَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَأَخَذَنِي، فَجَعَلَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، فَصَلَّى فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ نَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ، وَكَانَ إِذَا نَامَ نَفَخَ، ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَخَرَجَ، فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ قَالَ عَمْرٌو: فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَا بُكَيْرَ بْنَ الْأَشَجِّ فَقَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي كُرَيْبٌ بِذَلِكَ، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I spent the night at the house of my maternal aunt Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was with her that night. He (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, then stood up to pray, and I stood on his left; he took hold of me and placed me on his right. He (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed thirteen rak'ahs that night, then slept until he breathed audibly, and whenever he (peace and blessings be upon him) slept he would breathe audibly. Then the mu'adhdhin came, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) went out and prayed, but he did not perform ablution.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، نا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ كَانَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَمَضَانَ؟ فَقَالَتْ: مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَزِيدُ فِي رَمَضَانَ، وَلَا فِي غَيْرِهِ عَلَى إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا، فَلَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْ حُسْنِهِنَّ وَطُولِهِنَّ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا، فَلَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْ حُسْنِهِنَّ وَطُولِهِنَّ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي ثَلَاثًا قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتَنَامُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُوتِرَ؟ فَقَالَ: " يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ " عَيْنِيَّ تَنَامَانِ، وَلَا يَنَامُ قَلْبِي " لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ، وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى.
Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): How was the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Ramadan? She said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray more than eleven rak'ahs, in Ramadan or outside it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray four rak'ahs, and do not ask about their beauty and length; then he would pray four rak'ahs, and do not ask about their beauty and length; then he would pray three rak'ahs. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), do you (peace and blessings be upon him) sleep before praying witr? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aishah, my eyes sleep, but my heart remains awake."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمُرَادِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، ثنا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يُحَدِّثُنَا عَنْ لَيْلَةِ أُسْرِيَ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ مَسْجِدِ الْكَعْبَةِ، أَنَّهُ جَاءَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ نَائِمٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ فَقَالَ أَوَّلُهُمْ: هُوَ هُوَ وَقَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ: هُوَ خَيْرُهُمْ وَقَالَ آخِرُهُمْ: خُذُوا خَيْرَهُمْ، ⦗١٠٠⦘ فَكَانَتْ تِلْكَ فَلَمْ يَرَهُمْ حَتَّى جَاءُوهُ لَيْلَةً أُخْرَى، فِيمَا يَرَى قَلْبُهُ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَنَامُ عَيْنُهُ وَلَا يَنَامُ قَلْبُهُ وَكَذَلِكَ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ عَلَيْهِمُ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ تَنَامُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ وَلَا تَنَامُ قُلُوبُهُمْ "، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ هَارُونَ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ.
Sharik bin Abdullah bin Abi Namir said: I heard Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating to us from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the hadith of the night of the Night Journey: three persons came before revelation came to him, while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was asleep in the Sacred Mosque. The first of them said: "It is he." The middle one said: "He is the best of them."
The last one said: "Take the best of them." That was what happened that night. After that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not see them until they came another night, in what his heart perceived; his (peace and blessings be upon him) eyes would sleep but his heart remained awake, and likewise the eyes of all the prophets sleep but their hearts remain awake.
