أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَبَّاسٌ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا آدَمُ قَالَا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى يَقُولُ: مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَحَدٌ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى غَيْرَ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ، فَإِنَّهَا قَالَتْ: " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ بَيْتَهَا يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ فَاغْتَسَلَ وَصَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ " قَالَتْ: " فَلَمْ أَرَ صَلَاةً أَخَفَّ مِنْهَا غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ ". لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ آدَمَ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ آدَمَ بْنِ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، وَأَبِي الْوَلِيدِ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ غُنْدَرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ.
Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla (may Allah have mercy on him) said that no one other than Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) told us that she had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offering the Duha (forenoon) prayer. She said that on the day of the Conquest of Makkah the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered her house, performed ghusl and offered eight rak'ahs. She said: I have not seen a lighter prayer than it, yet its bowing and prostrations were complete.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْفَقِيهُ بِنَيْسَابُورَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ وَحَرَصْتُ عَلَى أَنْ أَجِدَ أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّاسِ يُخْبِرُنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبَّحَ سُبْحَةَ الضُّحَى، فَحَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى بَعْدَمَا ارْتَفَعَ النَّهَارُ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَأَمَرَ بِثَوْبٍ فَسُتِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَاغْتَسَلَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ لَا أَدْرِي أَقِيَامُهُ فِيهَا أَطْوَلُ أَمْ رُكُوعُهُ أَمْ سُجُودُهُ؟ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ مُتَقَارِبٌ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ حَرْمَلَةَ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ ⦗٦٩⦘ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَذَلِكَ لِأَنَّ الصَّحِيحَ أَنَّهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، كَذَا قَالَهُ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ إِلَّا أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ يَقُولُ: عُبَيْدُ اللهِ.
Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Nawfal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I used to ask, and I was eager that someone among the people would tell me whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the Duha prayer. (So) Sayyidah Umm Hani bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) told me that on the day of the Conquest of Makkah, after the day had risen, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave an order, and a screen was put up with a cloth. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ghusl, stood and offered eight rak'ahs. I do not know whether the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) standing in them was longer, or the bowing and prostration; (rather) all of them were equal.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ يَقُولُ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ " أَنَّهَا رَأَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الضُّحَى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ، لَمْ تَرَهُ صَلَّى قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا، فِي ثَوْبٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ ".
Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Nawfal (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offering eight rak'ahs of the Duha prayer. She did not see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offer (such) a prayer before it nor after it, and she saw him praying in a (garment) whose two ends were crossed over one another.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عِيَاضُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ صَلَّى سُبْحَةَ الضُّحَى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ، يُسَلِّمُ مِنْ كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ".
Kurayb, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), narrates from Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the day of the Conquest of Makkah the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered eight rak'ahs of the Duha prayer; he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say the salam after every two rak'ahs.
